Engagement rings · New York

Custom engagement rings, crafted in New York.

Design your own engagement ring one-on-one with a designer, in person in New York or by video from anywhere. Sketched by hand, rendered in 3D, and made around a stone you love.

How it works

From a first conversation to a finished ring.

Every engagement ring is a collaboration. Here is what to expect at each step, and nothing is cast until you approve the final design.

01

Consultation

Tell us about the person, the occasion, a stone you love. Meet us in person in New York, or by video from anywhere. We listen first — no templates, no pressure.

02

Sketches & 3D

Three distinct concepts, sketched by hand. Your favorite becomes a professional CAD render you can see from every angle, at true scale.

03

Revisions

Refine the metal, the setting, the finish and the stones over up to two rounds of revisions, plus a production feasibility review.

04

Crafted by hand

Once you approve the final design, your ring is cast, set by hand and finished in New York by experienced artisans.

Your stone

Designed around
the stone.

Many engagement rings begin with a stone. Bring one you already have — a family diamond, a stone from an heirloom — and we design the ring around it, resetting the stone or reworking inherited metal while keeping the story intact.

Still looking? Tell us what you have in mind and we'll source it, matched to how the ring will be worn: sapphires and rubies are exceptionally tough and suit daily wear, while emeralds are softer and reward a gentler life.

Questions

Good to know.

How do I start an engagement ring commission?

Begin with a short conversation — tell us the occasion, the person, a stone you love, or simply a feeling. A designer replies within one business day. Sending your request carries a $60 design fee; the consultation that follows is in person in New York or by video from anywhere, with no obligation.

Can you design around a stone I already have?

Yes. We can reset your existing stones or rework inherited metal into something you'll actually wear, while keeping the story intact. If you'd rather start fresh and have something specific in mind, we'll source it, and you approve every stone before it's set.

Will I see the ring before it's made?

Always. You'll see your design as a professional CAD render — from every angle, at true scale — long before any metal is touched. You approve exactly what you'll receive.

How much does a custom engagement ring cost?

Because every piece is one of a kind, there's no set price list. Once your design is defined we send a detailed quote, so you know the full cost before committing to production. Your budget is part of the conversation from the very start — we design to it, not around it.

What is the design fee?

It's $60, paid when you send your request. It reserves your designer's time to create your three concepts and photorealistic render — the creative work that turns an idea into something buildable. The full $60 is credited toward your piece's final price. Because it pays for design work, it isn't refundable.

How long does a custom engagement ring take?

It depends on the piece and its complexity. Most commissions take a few weeks from approved design to delivery; your exact timeline is shared with your quote. If you're working toward a specific date, tell us early and we'll plan around it.
