Heirloom redesign · New York

Heirloom jewelry, redesigned.

Redesign inherited jewelry into something you'll actually wear. We reset your existing stones or rework inherited metal into a new piece, while keeping the story intact.

What we do

New life for a piece
you already love.

Heirloom redesign is one of our favorite things to do. Tell us about the ring, the stone or the piece you've inherited, and whose it was. We start with that story, then design something new around it: a piece that could only ever be yours.

How a redesign works

From the piece you have to the one you'll wear.

It begins the way every commission does, with a conversation. From there we sketch, design, review and refine until it's exactly right.

01

Tell us about it

In the short commission form, choose Heirloom redesign, then My own stone if you're keeping a stone. Tell us the story and what you'd like it to become.

02

Meet a designer

A designer replies within one business day. Meet in person in New York, or by video from anywhere.

03

Concepts & 3D

Three concepts, then your favorite as a CAD render at true scale, long before any metal is touched. Up to two rounds of revisions.

04

Crafted by hand

Nothing is cast until you approve the final design. Then it's cast, set by hand and finished in New York.

Questions

Before you begin.

Can you redesign an heirloom or reuse my stones?

Yes. Heirloom redesign is one of our favorite things to do. We can reset your existing stones or rework inherited metal into something you'll actually wear, while keeping the story intact.

Do I need to know what I want it to become?

Not at all. Most people arrive with a feeling rather than a finished idea: a photo, an heirloom, a color, a memory. Our job is to listen and shape it into something real. There are no templates and no pressure to decide.

Will I see the new design before it's made?

Always. You'll see your design as a professional CAD render, from every angle and at true scale, long before any metal is touched. You refine it over up to two rounds of revisions, and nothing is cast until you approve the final design.

How much does an heirloom redesign cost?

Because every piece is one of a kind, there's no set price list. Once your design is defined we send a detailed quote, so you know the full cost before committing to production. Your budget is part of the conversation from the very start: we design to it, not around it.

What is the design fee?

It's $60, paid when you send your request. It reserves your designer's time to create your three concepts and photorealistic render. The full $60 is credited toward your piece's final price. Because it pays for design work, it isn't refundable.

How long does a redesign take?

It depends on the piece and its complexity. Most commissions take a few weeks from approved design to delivery, and your exact timeline is shared with your quote. If you're working toward a specific date, tell us early and we'll plan around it.
