Gold is measured in karats — the proportion of pure gold in the alloy. Higher karat means richer color and more purity; lower karat means a harder, more hard-wearing metal.
Gold comes in yellow, white and rose — the same gold, alloyed with different metals for color. Rose gold takes its blush from copper.
White gold is finished with rhodium for its bright, cool tone and can be refreshed over the years.
Platinum is denser, naturally white and hypoallergenic. It doesn't need rhodium and holds a stone securely for a lifetime; over time it develops a soft matte patina many people love — and it can be polished bright again whenever you like.

Sterling silver is a beautiful, accessible choice with a bright cool shine. It's softer than gold and will tarnish gently with air, which a quick polish restores.
Natural and lab-grown diamonds are the same material — chemically, physically and optically identical, and equally graded. The difference is origin: one formed in the earth, the other grown in a lab. Lab-grown stones cost noticeably less for the same size and quality, which lets many people choose a larger or finer stone for the same budget. Neither is "better" — it's a personal choice, and we'll talk you through it.
Diamonds are judged on the four Cs — cut, color, clarity and carat. Of the four, cut matters most for how a diamond actually sparkles. We help you balance the four against your budget rather than chase a number on paper.
